May 2016 – In August 2015, AFA launched Engage, a new arm of ministry with the goal of helping the Millennial generation build a biblical worldview. Since that time, Engage has seen major growth in social media and website traffic.

“Part of our growth strategy is meeting people face to face,” said Teddy James, whose vision planted the seeds for Engage. “To accomplish that, we have attended conferences across the Southeast.”

James is managing editor of EngageMagazine.net. He and Nick Dean represented Engage at National Religious Broadcasters Convention in Nashville; Truth for a New Generation in Spartanburg, South Carolina; and Downline Conference in Memphis.

Engage writers, all of whom work in other AFA departments, have participated in Winterjam concerts and E-Women’s Conferences as well.

“We are grateful that AFA is speaking to our generation.” James said. “The need is great and we believe God is doing something special through Engage.”
