![]() DISNEY May 2000; Volume 24 Issue 05 Disney plans movie about nude models
Eleven women from the Women's Institute in England decided to raise money for leukemia research by posing nude. According to the Sydney Morning Herald (Australia), that's a far cry from the organ-ization's rather matronly image--the group usually involves itself in more traditional pursuits, such as making jam, knitting, or making flower arrangements. Those pursuits, however, are always done with clothes on. The women in the popular calendar, who are all between the ages of 45 and 60, are shown individually in a domestic setting wearing nothing but pearl necklaces. Objects in the photo are strategically placed to avoid full nudity. As for the big screen, Disney's Buena Vista International will team up with British production company Harbour Pictures to produce a film based on the women and their success. © Copyright 2000 • American Family Association, all rights reserved. |
