AFA news operations merge

ONENEWSNOW.COM TOPS ONE MILLION VISITORS IN FIRST MONTH

The news division of American Family Radio and AFA’s AgapePress news syndication service have merged to create a new Internet news entity: OneNewsNow.com

In the first 31 days of operation, the new site had served more than one million unique visitors.

American Family News (AFN) director Fred Jackson said the merger is a natural evolution for the two news divisions of AFA. “The Internet is where more and more people are going for their news, and we feel that our Christian perspective will be a big draw,” Jackson said.

OneNewsNow.com features the reporting of the AFN team, the latest news from the Associated Press, a “News from the Web” section linking to stories from other news outlets, and “Perspectives,” a collection of columns from opinion writers who analyze current events and issues in light of Biblical principles.

Webmasters, radio station news directors and newspaper editors interested in using content from OneNewsNow.com, along with news makers wishing to submit press releases, may contact the American Family News Network via e-mail at editor@onenewsnow.com. Businesses interested in advertising on the site should contact marketing director Roy Wikoff at roy.wikoff@onenewsnow.com.
