attorneys High court to hear homosexual case
They say everything is bigger in Texas, and now a case that began in Houston has moved to the U.S. Supreme Court, and may very well be the biggest legal decision in history on “gay” rights.

After the deed is done
No woman wants an abortion as she wants an ice cream cone or a Porsche. She wants an abortion as an animal caught in a trap wants to gnaw off its own leg. This stark analogy referenced in the book, Forbidden Grief: the Unspoken Pain of Abortion, lays bare the desperation of women who contemplate an abortion because they believe it is either their only choice, or the best choice they have under extremely difficult circumstances.

Leaving home behind
Nine-year-old Shelby Nowland loves his mommy and knows she’s always there for him. But when he comes out of the throes of an epileptic seizure, it’s his daddy he wants.

A pinch of incense

Destined to Drink?

Before turning their teens loose for some sun and fun, though, parents should be aware of just what awaits their kids, especially if Cancun, Mexico, or South Padre Island, Texas, are the destinations of choice. And, some of the promoters actually suggest kids lie to their parents about their intentions.

Televised disaster
This past January marked the sixth anniversary of the television ratings experiment, and it hasn’t gone well.

Your friend just told you "I'm Gay!" Now what?
Such a confession can precipitate an avalanche of emotions for a Christian. Your responses will accomplish one of two things – push your friend away or draw the friend toward you.

Roe plus 30...reason for hope
My dad was a Methodist minister. At least once a year he would preach on the value and dignity of each human life. Rich, poor, black, brown, white, educated, uneducated – it didn’t matter. In God’s eyes we were all the same. Dad used to say that God cares for the common ditch digger as much as he does the president of the United States. God’s love includes the unborn for they, too, are created in the image of God.
